To celebrate the 150 th anniversary of Devonport Park, the "Friends" have asked a local artist Sue Wills, who has her own gallery on Plymouth's Barbican, to produce a painting depicting scenes from Devonport Park. Prints of this painting, shown below, are now on sale to the public  These were strictlylimited to 100 signed & numbered prints available in two sizes A3 & A4. There are currently  only 11, A3 size and around 50 of the smaller A4 size available by donating only £25 & £10 respectively (plus p&p).  These will be allocated on a first come, first served basis  These prints are of exceptional quality and are sure to go very quickly.  To purchase one of thee prints, either use the corresponding “Donate” paypal links below or contact Mike Gallagher, Chairman either via email or on 01752 213308.

Each print comes with a Certficate of Authenticity, with an individual and will registration number which will be recorded by the FDP to prevent unathorized copies being made.

The Bandstand and “Buy A Brick Campaign”!

Thank you to the many people and organisations who have already purchased a “brick” (victorian paving slab), immortalising their loved one’s or other names, or company details in the upcoming design of the new Devonport Park Bandstand. Despite now having the necessary funds and as a result of it’s popularity, we are still continuing to raise funds towards projects within the park by selling these Victorian bricks. Details on how to purchase a brick are below.

The current new deadline for purchases is the 28th Feb 2012.

The starting price for individuals is £25 per brick (Victorian paver) and if you are interested I would act quickly as they are selling out fast!
For more details, contact Mike Gallagher at 01752 213308 or by email using
mikegallagher@friendsofdevonportpark.co.uk

Please remember that we are a completely voluntary group who are entirely dependent upon donations in order to continue our work in our beautiful historic Devonport Park.

To donate to the bandstand fund, click on the PayPal donation link below or contact Mike Gallagher by email or on 01752 213308.
